Burall InfoSmart produce magnetic stripe tickets for
diverse markets such as transport ticketing, electricity tokens and various pre-payment systems. We
provide all the major UK regional electricity companies plus national and international train,
underground and bus companies producing up to 100 million tickets per year.
Using our unique in-house magnetic-ink coating (MIC) machine we coat and slit
paper roll stock before printing and die-cutting to produce low cost paper tickets. In addition,
have our own in-house designed and built, high-speed, secure encoding, ink-jet printing and
serialisation stations.
Apart from paper stock, many magnetic stripe cards are produced on more exotic
plastic materials like thin polyester for ATOC staff cards where higher durability is required.
