RFID Tags

Apart from smartcards and magnetic tickets, Burall InfoSmart have also developed some highly specialised RFID. From paper tickets, to rugged tags in exotic glass-reinforced plastic, to patented flexi-rigid, non-flat personalised smart such as passport covers and the iGO™ product. If you have a special need for some non-standard RFID tag, then the chances are that we can probably help you to implement what you are looking for.

Made of 40% glass-reinforced PPS, (polyphenylenesulphide), the TuffTag™ is extremely durable and chemical resistant, originally designed by us for direct fixing to railway tracks to uniquely identify welds including the engineer and date-time-location-stamp of the weld joint.

Passport covers and iGO are made using the patented iLAM™ process, originally co-developed by Burall InfoSmart.  The intellectual property for this process has been put into Brite ID, a company set up to exploit this technology and partly owned by Burall InfoSmart.
